Hard to believe I’m writing about March Break in December, but I’ve been peppered with questions about East York Game Camp’s March Break plans. Well…wait no more!
Our five day March Break camp will focus on the amazing Essentials Kit boxed set titled “The Dragon of Icespire Peak”. This highly touted adventure for level 1 characters is considered a masterpiece by many Dungeon Masters because it seamlessly ties the popular adventures from “Lost Mines of Phandelver” into its plot. And truthfully, that’s partly why I went this route. I think we’ll investigate the Lost Mines early in the Summer Camp, so why not get adventurers ready for that incredible journey by exposing them to the lands surrounding the now famous town of Phandalin?
Now, a hasty reader might think I have a preference for adventures that have dragons in them, I mean first Stormwreck Isle, now Icespire Peak? Well, I have nothing against stories with dragons in them. But perhaps I ought to employ the words of a far wiser man than myself in defense:
